A woman was killed in North Fort Myers Wednesday night.
The crash occurred about a quarter to 9 p.m when a pickup traveling in the eastbound lanes of Bayshore Road west of Washington Drive.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
Florida Highway Patrol state troopers responded to the scene while Lee County deputies were in charge of traffic control.
An investigation is ongoing.
