Monessen,PA : One dead in Salem Township wreck on may, Sunday 14th 2017

One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Route 22 in Salem Township.

According to Westmoreland 911, the accident happened about 8:15 p.m. Sunday just east of Route 66 near the Wagon Wheel restaurant. The accident involved the motorcycle and a SUV.

Route 22 westbound toward Murrysville is closed between Rock Springs Road and Old William Penn and is expected to be closed for several hours while police and Westmoreland County Coroner's Office officials investigate.
