Sand Canyon, CA : Two people injured in head-on collision Sand Canyon on Friday February 12 2016

Two people involved in a head-on collision Friday night on Sand Canyon Road near Sierra Highway were taken to a local hospital due to injuries, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The crash, involving a black Mercedes and Honda sedan, occurred shortly before 7:15 p.m., according to a witness at the scene.
A least one person involved in the crash was arrested at the scene, but California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio couldn’t say the reason for person’s arrest.
As of 9:25 p.m., Rubio said he did not know if alcohol or drugs were involved.
