New Castle, IN : 43-year-old Racine woman was killed and man arrested after two-car crash at Memorial Drive on Saturday early morning, December 13th 2014

Police arrested a Racine man for drunken driving after a fatal accident in that city early Saturday.

A 43-year-old Racine woman was killed in the two-car crash. Racine police responded at about 3:20 a.m. at 13th St. and S. Memorial Drive. Officers found the woman trapped inside an overturned vehicle.

The other driver fled on foot but was caught. He was identified as Tarance L. Bryant and was held at the Racine County Jail.

Police were seeking charges of OWI-second offense, homicide by operation of a vehicle while intoxicated, and hit and run resulting in death.

The victim's identity was not released.
