A woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Saturday morning after a crash on I-77.
According to troopers, the woman was speeding when she hit a pole at approximately 1 a.m.
The collision happened on I-77 northbound between Lasalle Street and I-85. The pole she hit holds up a sign for I-85.
Troopers said she had to be cut out of her vehicle. She was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
