Montgomery, AL : 25-year-old from Prattville killed in Sunday crash on Sunday, 30th October 2016

A 25-year-old Prattville man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday on the highway near Clanton.

Derek Ray Dison was killed when the 2007 Toyota Rav4 he was driving was struck by a 2001 Honda Accord on Interstate 65 near the 196 mile marker, approximately 9 miles south of Clanton said Cpl. Jesse Thornton, a State Trooper with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

"Dison, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene," Thornton said.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
