HANNIBAL, MO : Vandalia woman injured in Hannibal crash on Friday, September 22nd 2017

A Vandalia, Mo., woman was injured after her vehicle struck a tree about 12:30 p.m. Friday.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report states that Casey S. Charlton, 23, was traveling southbound on Highway T south of Hannibal when her 2005 Dodge Dakota ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Charlton, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries, and her vehicle sustained extensive damage. She was taken by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

The highway patrol was assisted by Ralls County Sheriff's Department and Marion County Ambulance.
