Firefighters responding to a single car traffic collision in Newhall near Highway 14 Monday extinguished a burning tree ignited after the car hit it and caught fire, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
Although an ambulance was requested by firefighters arriving at the crash, no one was taken to the hospital, the Fire Department spokeswoman said.
