Montgomery, AL : Saturday evening crash in Tuscaloosa kills 46-year-old man on Saturday, 17th September 2016

A crash in Tuscaloosa yesterday left one man dead.

At 6:05 p.m. Saturday, Brian Lee Swindle and two other people were riding in a 2005 Ford Focus on Bear Creek Road.

The car hit a ditch and overturned, Senior Trooper Reginal King said.

Swindle, 46, was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 7:19 p.m.

King said Swindle was not wearing a seatbelt. He was from Tuscaloosa.

The Ford's driver and another passenger were not injured in the accident.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the crash.
