Pocahontas County, IA : 7 injured in crash at the intersection of Iowa Highway 3 and Iowa Highway 15 on Friday, 4th September, 2020

Seven people were injured when a truck collided with a car Friday at the intersection of Iowa Highway 3 and Iowa Highway 15, according to Iowa State Patrol crash reports.

The crash was reported at 6:05 p.m.Thomas Hemmingsen, 65, of Newell, was driving a Ford F2050 westbound.

Adrian Kannard, 17, of Rockwell City, was driving a Dodge Dart. Kannard was turning northbound onto Iowa Highway 15, the Iowa State Patrol reported.

The car was struck by Hemmingsen’s truck in the westbound lane of traffic.

The crash occurred about halfway between Gilmore City and Pocahontas.
