A 49-year-old man died Tuesday after a dump truck and two other vehicles collided on Route 22 in South Whitehall Township, authorities said.

Carl Acker II of Lopatcong Township, Warren County, was hit by a vehicle in the 2:20 p.m. accident on the highway’s eastbound lanes near the Turnpike’s Northeast Extension, the Lehigh County coroner’s office said.
