Renton, WA : One person died in a crash on Interstate 5 South in Kent on Friday night, December 11, 2015

A driver was killed late Friday night after being thrown from a Honda Civic that left the roadway, rolled and came to rest in a ditch off Interstate 5 South in Kent.

Washington State Patrol responded about 11 p.m. and said the car had been traveling south on I-5 at Highway 516.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and died at the scene, according to state patrol.

The cause is under investigation.
