DEL CITY, OK : Police investigating deadly stabbing in Del City on Saturday, January, 20th 2018

Police are investigating a homicide after a stabbing at a Del City home, officials said.

The stabbing was reported Saturday night at a home in the 2500 block of Becker Place, near Southeast 29th Street and South Bryant Avenue. The victim died Saturday night, officials confirmed Sunday.

Officers took a person of interest into custody on an unrelated charge, according to authorities. Investigators are working to determine if that person is a suspect in the fatal stabbing.

Authorities have not released information about the victim. Del City police officials said they will release more information Monday morning.
