Montrose, CO : 46-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash south of town on Wednesday, July 6, 2016

A 46-year-old woman died earlier Wednesday during a two-vehicle crash south of town.

Stephanie Marie Boyd died of multiple traumatic injuries due to a motor vehicle collision, Dr. Thomas Canfield, Montrose County coroner said. An autopsy is being scheduled.

A child with Boyd was reportedly severely injured.

Boyd reportedly taught school.

The crash at about mile marker 125, U.S. 550, caused the highway to be closed from about 9 a.m. to early afternoon.
