LAS VEGAS, NV : 1 person killed in morning crash at Valley View on Tuesday, 18th July 2023

Las Vegas police are investigating a crash that left a 42-year-old woman dead Tuesday morning in the southwest valley near Allegiant Stadium.

The crash involved two vehicles and was reported around 5:46 a.m. at the intersection of Valley View Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue which remained closed until around 10 a.m.

Evidence at the scene indicated that a 1995 Ford F150 was traveling east on West Hacienda Avenue, approaching the intersection with South Valley View Boulevard.

A black 2018 Nissan Titan was traveling north on South Valley View Boulevard, approaching West Hacienda Avenue. The crash occurred when the Nissan disobeyed a steady red light and collided with the Ford at the intersection.

Las Vegas Metropolitan police said one person died at the scene and a person in the second vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
