GREER, SC : 25-year-old motorcyclist dies following crash in Greer on Friday, 23rd June 2023

The Greer Police Department said one person is dead following a motorcycle crash on Friday night.

Police said the crash happened at 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 101 and I-85.

According to police, a Chevrolet pickup was traveling south on Highway 101 while a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling north. Officials said the pickup was making a left turn into a gas station when it collided with the motorcycle.

Officials said witnesses stated the motorcycle appeared to be traveling at an excessive speed.

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 25-year-old Jonathan Roger Cash.
