Circleville,OH : Circleville man killed in in Fayette County crash on June, Saturday 3rd 2017

A Circleville man was killed when he lost control of his car on a curve and crashed into a utility pole off Route 22 in eastern Fayette County late Saturday night.

Shannon Brown, 41, was pronounced dead on arrival at Fayette County Memorial Hospital

Brown’s 2007 Mercedes was traveling west on Route 22 when he veered off the road and into the pole. He was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled over multiple times and caught fire, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s office.

Before the crash Brown was seen traveling at a high rate speed by a New Holland Police officer, who attempted to stop him but broke off his pursuit, the sheriff’s office said.
