GENESEE COUNTY, MO : Clio man seriously injured in 2-car deer crash in Genesee Co. on Tuesday, 12th November 2024

A Clio man was seriously injured in a two-car deer crash on I-75 on Tuesday evening.

According to Michigan State Police, the crash happened at about 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, on southbound I-75 near Maple Road (mile-marker 136).

MSP said a 70-year-old Swartz Creek man driving a 2024 Jeep side swiped a 2021 Doge Ram, driven by a 46-year-old Clio man, as he swerved to hit a dear. The crash resulted in the Dodge Ram being pushed off the roadway and rolled over into the ditch.

The Clio man was taken to an area hospital for serious injuries, and no other injuries were reported, MSP said, adding the deer was not hit.
