Dayton, OH : Trooper hurt following crash on I-75 in Dayton on Sunday, October 23, 2016
A trooper is recovering after being hurt in a crash on Interstate 75 in Dayton.
According to a release, the trooper was called to assist with a broken down car in the southbound lane of I-75 near I-675 just after 1 a.m. Sunday.
A tow truck was called to the scene and while removing the car another driver hit the trooper’s car, pushing it into the wrecker.
The trooper and the tow truck driver were both hit.
The trooper was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for a non-threatening head injury.
The tow truck driver was treated for a serious leg injury
The Ohio State Patrol is investigating.
