Motorcyclist killed when bike crashes in creek in Acworth Georgia

An Acworth man was killed after crashing his motorcycle Tuesday night.
The accident occurred at around 10:30 p.m. on Cheatham Road between Deer Valley Drive and Old Stilesboro Road in Acworth.
Cobb County Police Sgt. Dana Pierce said 44-year-old Scott Finnell was driving around a curve in the road when he lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The bike hit a concrete wall on a bridge and landed in the creek below, Pierce said.
Finnell was pronounced dead at the scene. Pierce said investigators believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
