Merrillville,IN : Passenger dies in I80 94 crash on Sunday, 10th May, 2020

A passenger was killed in a single-vehicle accident on I-80/94 in Lake County on Sunday, the Indiana State Police said.
According to police, at 3:30 a.m. driver Andre C. Walker was eastbound on I-80/94 when, near Burr Street, his 2008 Chevrolet Impala left its lane of travel and struck the center median wall. His passenger, Aleesha Walker, 29, of Merrillville, sustained fatal injuries.
Aleesha Walker was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, police said.
Andre Walker sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
