Hephzibah, GA : 2 killed in head-on accident in east Georgia on Saturday night, April 16, 2016
A coroner says two people were killed in a head-on accident in east Georgia.
Richmond County coroner Mark Bowen tells the Augusta Chronicle that 24-year-old Shabazz Holmes and 36-year-old James Cannon were killed in the accident on Georgia Highway 36 on Saturday night. Both were pronounced dead at Augusta University Medical Center.
Authorities say Holmes was traveling north and Cannon was heading south. The vehicles struck head on after one of the vehicles crossed the center line.
