HUBBARD TOWNSHIP, OH : Arizona trucker charged in crash in Hubbard Township on Monday, 3rd September 2018

An Arizona truck driver is facing aggravated vehicular homicide charges after a fatal accident on I-80 Monday.

Ademayowa A. Saint, 46, of Glendale, Ariz., was driving his 2005 Freightliner tractor trailer just before 6:30 p.m. Monday in Hubbard Township when his vehicle went off the right side of the interstate. The Freightliner struck a ditch and several trees, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred near Mile Marker 237, about 50 yards from the Pennsylvania state line, said Lt. Brian M. Vail of the Ohio State Patrol’s post in Warren.

Although Saint was not injured, a woman in the sleeper berth of the truck was killed in the crash. Investigators did not release the woman’s name.

“We determined that she was his fiancee,” Vail said.
