Stonington, CT: 26-year-old Pregnant woman Alexandra Brown killed in singel-car crash along I-95 on Tuesday, August 4th 2015

A woman died in a single-car crash on I-95 southbound Tuesday morning.The woman, Alexandra Brown, 26, of Niantic, was driving around 11 a.m. near exit 91 when she drove off the road. Her car hit the guardrail, and then overturned several times. Brown was thrown from the car and then taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.Brown was 9 months pregnant when she crashed, and her baby was delivered by a cesarean section. The baby is in critical, but stable condition.The road was closed for some time due to the crash.
