Independence County. ,AR : Poinsett County man hit by truck and killed On Saturday morning ,July 11th 2015

A Poinsett County man is dead after being hit by a truck Saturday morning.

It happened around 10:55 a.m., in Independence County.

Christopher A. Thomas, 24, of Fisher was walking in the southbound lane of Highway 167, south of Pleasant Plains, when a dodge truck driving in the same lane hit him.

The Arkansas State Police crash report does not list who was driving that truck.
