Merrimack, N.H : Md. man charged after driving into Merrimack home early Friday morning on August 1, 2014

A Maryland man accused of drunken driving faces charges after crashing his car into the porch of a Merrimack home, according to authorities.

Police said a Lexus, driven by Darrell Ferguson, 22, was traveling on Amherst Road when it drifted off the roadway. The Lexus crashed into the porch of a nearby home, causing minor damage.

Officers said Ferguson showed signs of alcohol impairment, and was charged with operating under the influence.
