Grand Junction, IA : Man has died and has injured two others while driving recklessly on a highway on Monday September 1st 2014

Iowa authorities say a man has died and has injured two others while driving recklessly on a highway. Trooper Kevin Leffler says 27-year-old Daniel Reetz was killed near Grand Junction on Monday. Leffler says Reetz's Chevy Impala crossed the center line on a bridge and struck a Cadillac Escalade head-on. He was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 27-year-old male driver and 25-year-old female passenger in the Escalade were hospitalized in Jefferson. The trooper says the injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
