HOLMES COUNTY, FL : Man killed in State Road 2 wreck on April, Wednesday 5th 2017

A man died Wednesday evening after driving onto the shoulder on a rural road and then overcorrecting, sending his car into the tree line.

Donald McLean, who is 52, lived in Westville, a small town east of DeFuniak Springs.

He was driving westbound on State Road 2 about 7 p.m. when the accident occurred.

After his car drove onto the shoulder, he swerved to the left, sending his vehicle to cross both lanes of the highway onto the grassy shoulder. There he hit one tree, which spun his vehicle around, forcing him to collide with several other trees.
