SANTA ROSA, CA : 1 killed, 9 injured in Hwy 12 chain-reaction crash in Santa Rosa on Thursday, 29th August 2024

One person was killed and nine were taken to the hospital on Thursday following a multi-vehicle collision on westbound Highway 12 in Santa Rosa, officials say.

The Santa Rosa Fire Department said the roadway closed between Stony Point Road and Fulton Road. The road reopened at around 4:10 p.m.

The collision was reported at around 11:50 a.m., when a dump truck plowed into a line of 11 vehicles waiting at a red light on Highway 12 at Fulton Road, officials said.
