Tallahassee, FL : Volusia patrol vehicle damaged in I-4 crash on Thursday, October 5, 2017

A Volusia County deputy’s patrol car was damaged Thursday afternoon on Interstate 4 after a driver in a SUV lost control of her vehicle while changing lanes and crashed into the passenger side of the car.

No one was injured in the crash, which took place around 2:22 p.m. near Daytona Beach, deputies said.

The driver of the SUV, Kathleen Konkle, was cited by the Florida Highway Patrol for failure to maintain a single lane, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
