One person is in the hospital following a crash with parked car Monday night.
Police were called to Middle Creek Parkway, just to the east of Voyager, around 11 p.m. on reports of a wrecked Chevy Silverado with an unconscious passenger slumped inside. The pickup was near Mary Kyer Park in a residential area.
Once on scene, officers determined that a Tesla Model X had crashed into the parked Silverado with enough force to push it 30 feet.
“The unconscious occupant was determined to be a passenger in the car and was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries,” a CSPD lieutenant said.
