Man killed in Forsyth motorcycle accident in Cumming Georgia

Forsyth County authorities said Monday an investigation is underway into a weekend accident that killed a 38-year-old motorcycle operator.
The accident happened Saturday around 8:45 a.m. on Hurt Bridge Road near Dishroom Road, according to investigators.
Deputy First Class Michael Nelson, Traffic Specialist Investigator, reported that the victim was traveling south on Hurt Bridge Road when he lost control of his Harley Davidson Sportster. The victim, Ryan Crane of Cumming, was thrown from the motorcycle and was then hit by a 2004 Chevrolet S-10 truck, according to the investigator.
The driver of the truck, identified as Thomas Mimms, was not injured.
