EL RENO, OK : Fatal crash on US-81 in Canadian County claims two lives on Friday, 14th June 2024

A fatality collision occurred 7.5 miles North of El Reno, in Canadian County, Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), the collision happened at approximately 10:00 p.m. Friday on US-81 and Northwest 192nd Street.

Javier Ocampo-Ojeda, driving a 2007 Nissan Armada with passenger Reyna Pallares Reyes, attempted to cross US-81 Westbound when they were struck by a 2019 Kenworth driven by Arthur Setzer.

Setzer was driving Northbound on US-81.

Both Ocampo-Ojeda, 61, and Reyes, 65, were pronounced dead at the scene.
