One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 880 near Jack London Square in Oakland on Tuesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. A big rig and a car were involved in the deadly collision that blocked the southbound No. 3 and 4 lanes of the highway, said CHP Officer Damian Cistaro. The CHP was notified of the crash just after 9 p.m. and issued a Sig Alert at 9:22 p.m. The lanes were reopened about 10:45 p.m. and traffic was flowing smoothly by 11 p.m. Source : Lanes reopened after fatal I-880 crash
