Boone County, KY : 1 dead in Boone County crash at Richwood Road and Hicks Pike on Wednesday, 9th January 2019

One person was killed in a four-vehicle crash in Northern Kentucky on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Crews responded to Richwood Road and Hicks Pike just before 7:30 a.m., according to Boone County dispatchers.

Richwood Road is shut down in the area until further notice.

An adult and two children who also were involved in the crash were taken to a hospital to be checked out, authorities said.
