Deputies say one person was killed in a crash on Highway 17 North near McClellanville Tuesday morning.
Charleston County deputies responded Tuesday morning at approximately 8:30 a.m. to a report of a van in the woodline of the highway, according to Capt. Roger Antonio.
The male driver of the van was dead at the scene, he said.
The Sheriff's Office Traffic Division and the Charleston County Coroner's Office are investigating the crash.
