MONROE CITY, MO : Hannibal man injured in Monroe City crash on Sunday, 23rd September 2018

A Hannibal man suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash morning in Ralls County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Windel L. Brown, 76, was driving his 2017 Nissan pickup truck eastbound on Route A 8 miles east of Monroe City when at 9 a.m. he traveled off the right side of the road and overcorrected. Brown then traveled off the left side of the road and his truck overturned, struck a fence and came to rest on its side.

Brown was taken by Monroe City Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for his injuries. The Highway Patrol reports that Brown was wearing a seat belt.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Ralls County Sheriff's Department, Monroe City Fire Department and Center Fire Department.
