Paducah,KY : Rollover wreck sends 3 to hospital on may, Sunday 21th 2017
A two-vehicle crash injured two people Sunday in McCracken County.
Deputies said Angel Smith, 38, of Paducah, was headed west on Krebs Station Road around 3 p.m. in a 2002 Pontiac when she failed to stop at a stop sign, crossing into the path of Louie Gonzales, 33, of Paducah.
Gonzales was traveling south on Old Mayfield in a 1995 Buick with his 7-month-old child, deputies reported.
Gonzales was unable to stop before his Buick hit Smith’s Pontiac, and the collision caused the Pontiac to overturn off the road. Smith was trapped in the vehicle until emergency personnel arrived. Smith and her two passengers, Anthony Thurston, 21, and Christina Woodford, 20, both of Paducah, were taken to area hospitals for treatment of minor injuries, deputies reported.
