BUMBLE BEE, AZ : I-17 reopens following crash north of Black Canyon City on Wednesday, 25th September 2024

Interstate 17 has reopened following a crash early Wednesday afternoon north of Black Canyon City.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to a collision involving two vehicles in the northbound lanes of I-17 at milepost 249 near Bumble Bee around 12:30 p.m. DPS says serious injuries have been reported.

ADOT closed the northbound lanes of the interstate at milepost 249 following the crash. The left lane reopened shortly before 2:30 p.m., followed by the right lane about 20 minutes later.
