Berlin ,CT : Motorcyclist dies after hitting turning car along Turnpike, car driver seriously hurt on on Sunday , July 26th 2015

Police say a 26-year-old man has been killed when his motorcycle crashed into a car overnight in Berlin.

Witnesses told officers the motorcycle hit the side of a car that was making a U-turn on the Berlin Turnpike near Overhill Road just after midnight on Sunday.

A 29-year-old woman driving the car was seriously injured and underwent surgery at Hartford Hospital.

A passenger on the motorcycle also was injured.

Berlin police are asking anyone who may have seen the crash to call investigators.
