Newyork, NY: 20-year Old man killed and two women injured after car plows into them Near the Laurelton section on Saturday night, 8th November 2014

Police have arrested a 20-year-old man after they say he plowed his car into three people in Queens, killing a man and critically injuring two women. The victims were struck Saturday night at 225th Street and Merrick Boulevard in the Laurelton section. Police say the driver, Kevin Weeks, of Queens, fled the scene but was later arrested on murder, assault and reckless endangerment charges. It wasn't clear if he had a lawyer. One of the victims, 20-year Kevin Lewis, was pinned under the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Two women, ages 19 and 21, were hospitalized in critical condition. Witnesses tell local TV stations the driver appeared to strike the victims intentionally. They say it happened after a dispute broke out at a baby shower. Source :
