Bladensburg,MD :D.C. motorcyclist is killed after striking parked truck in Northeast on June, Tuesday 6th 2017
A 28-year-old man was killed Tuesday night when his motorcycle crashed into the back of a parked truck in Northeast Washington, D.C. police said.
The crash occurred about 11:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of Queens Chapel Road NE, near New York Avenue and Bladensburg Road. The man who died was identified as Raheem Johnson of Northeast.
Police said the motorcycle was speeding and went over a bridge and struck the back of the truck. The truck had its hazard lights flashing, headlights on and orange emergency lights activated, police said.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the investigation remains open.
