Jacksonville,FL: Driver killed, passenger injured in Northside crash on November, Saturday 4th 2017

A driver died and his passenger was injured early Saturday when their car crashed on Jacksonville’s Northside.

The 34-year-old man who had been driving died at the scene. His 33-year-old female passenger was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police didn’t release the names of the victims.

The crash happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Lannie Road. The cause of the crash is under investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said.
