Las Vegas, NV : Three-car accident causes traffic delays on U.S.95 on Friday afternoon, December 5, 2014

A three-vehicle crash on the U.S. 95 caused major delays this afternoon. The accident happened about 12:45 p.m. in the westbound lanes just past the ramp to northbound Interstate 15, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. A Jeep, a sport utility vehicle and work truck crashed and blocked the highway, Trooper Chelsea Steunkel said.? One person was taken to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, she said. Traffic was being diverted onto the interstate.
