A 52-year-old Woodbridge man was killed in a Tuesday morning motorcycle crash on Minnieville Road in Dale City.

Police say John R. Bachman was riding his 2004 Suzuki GSX-R750 motorcycle north on Minnieville Road near Cheshire Station Plaza about 7:30 a.m. when a 2015 Honda Accord crossed into his path. The Honda’s driver, a 69-year-old Woodbridge man, was traveling south on Minnieville and turning left into the plaza when he struck the motorcycle.

Bachman was taken to an area hospital, where he later died of his injuries, said Prince William County police spokesman Steven Mattos.

The Honda driver stayed at the scene. Speed, alcohol and drugs were not factors, and charges have not been filed, Mattos said.
