A Colorado Springs man is dead in an overnight crash in Pueblo County.

State troopers say 32 year old Christopher Adkins lost control of a car on I-25 near mile marker 115.

Adkins was thrown from the vehicle when it went off the interstate and rolled.

He was not wearing a seat belt.

Investigators say excessive speed was a factor.
