Knoxville, TN : Two people injured after a crash involving KAT bus on Baxter Avenue on Wednesday, Nov 4, 2015

Two people were sent to UT Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries after a crash on Baxter Avenue.

According to police, a KAT bus and a Ford Explorer were waiting at a red light and it turned green. As the vehicles started moving, the person driving an Altima ran a red light and hit the bus, then spun into the Explorer.

Five people were on board the KAT bus at the time. None of them were hurt.

The driver and passenger in the Altima were hurt.

Charges are pending.
