GRAVES COUNTY, KY : 2 injured in car vs. motorcycle crash at the intersection of KY 1241 on Thursday, 4th July 2019

The drivers of a motorcycle and a car were injured in a late night crash on Thursday, July 4.
Both drivers had been travelling North on U.S. 45 in Graves County, Kentucky.
The crash happened at the intersection of KY 1241 at approximately 10:30 p.m.
According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, Nathan Patterson, of Mayfield, told deputies he was slowing his motorcycle down on 45 in order to make a right turn onto 1241 when he was hit from the rear.
The force of the crash caused him and the bike to end up in the ditch of the southbound lane.
The driver of the car, Linda Boykin of Paducah, reportedly told deputies she was headed home on 45 north when she realized she heard and saw an object that she hit.
Boykin’s car also ended up in the ditch of the southbound lane of 45.
