La Porte County, IN :Accident on Indiana Toll Road backs up traffic on Thursday, July 9th 2015

An accident on the Indiana Toll Road is backed up traffic early Thursday morning.Indiana State Police say it happened at the 68 mile marker in the westbound lanes around 3 a.m. EST. That's right between LaPorte and St. Joseph counties.A semi with double trailers was jack knifed, with one of the trailers on its side.One person was taken to the hospital for head injuries but there's no word yet on how serious they are.The westbound lanes were blocked as wreckers came to the scene to clear it. Traffic at one point was backed up all the way to the 72 mile marker where police diverted drivers.
