Baton Rough, LA : Woman injured in South Acadian Thruway wreck on Monday, September 15, 2014

Baton Rouge Police are investigating a crash that happened Monday just before 11 a.m. in the 700 block of S. Acadian, near Capital Heights. Police say two vehicles collided. The female driver of the first vehicle was taken to the hospital where she is listed in critical condition. The two occupants of the second vehicle were not injured. Detectives are investigating the cause of the crash. South Acadian Thruway was closed in both directions between Claycut Road and Capital Heights for the investigation. The roadway is now open.
